Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Scholarship Overview

Launched in June 2023, the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Scholarship program—a partnership between APIC, APIC Consulting Services, and Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC)—supports under-resourced facilities in building infection prevention and control (IPC) capacity. 

Each year, three critical access hospitals will receive a comprehensive package of consulting services, memberships, educational resources, certification support, and conference registrations (including travel), valued at over $50,000 per scholarship.
