Company Administrators can manage their organization’s APIC Organizational Membership roster.
To serve as a Company Administrator, an individual must:
- Have an active Organizational Membership assignment with the organization.
- Have an active Company Administrator designation.
Both are required.
Add a new Company Administrator
Company Administrator access is managed by APIC.
If your organization needs to add a new Company Administrator:
- Confirm that the individual is already an active Organizational Member.
- Contact APIC and provide:
- Organization name
- Individual’s full name
- Email address
- APIC will verify the individual’s membership assignment.
- APIC will add or activate the Company Administrator designation.
- The individual can then sign in and access the Organizational Membership Roster.
What if the person is not yet an Organizational Member?
The individual must first have an active Organizational Membership assignment.
If they are not currently on the roster:
- Add them to the Organizational Membership using an available seat.
- Once their membership assignment is active, contact APIC to request Company Administrator access.
Remove Company Administrator access
If someone should no longer manage the organization’s roster:
- Contact APIC.
- Provide the individual’s name and email address.
- APIC will remove or deactivate the Company Administrator designation.
Removing Company Administrator access does not automatically remove the individual from the organization’s membership roster.
If the person is also leaving the organization, they should be removed from the Organizational Membership roster separately.
Can a Company Administrator add another Company Administrator?
No.
Company Administrators can manage the membership roster, but they cannot grant Company Administrator access to other users.
APIC staff manages this designation.
Can an organization have more than one Company Administrator?
Yes.
More than one eligible individual may have Company Administrator access for the same organization.
Each administrator must have:
- An active Organizational Membership assignment.
- An active Company Administrator designation.
I have a Company Administrator designation but cannot access the roster
If you cannot access the Organizational Membership Roster, contact APIC.
APIC will verify:
- Your Organizational Membership assignment is active.
- Your assignment belongs to the correct organization.
- Your assignment is associated with the current membership term.
- Your Company Administrator designation is active.
Need help?
Contact APIC if:
- You need to add a Company Administrator.
- You need to remove a Company Administrator.
- A Company Administrator cannot access the roster.
- Your organization needs to change its primary roster manager.
